THE TOWN OF CANADICE WINTER MAINTENANCE POLICY FOR THE 2024/2025 SEASON CAN BE FOUND HERE.
The Highway Department maintains 38 miles of town roads and is responsible for snowplowing, highway repair & maintenance. The Town contracts with Ontario County for plowing and sanding an additional 14 miles of county roads during the winter months; and mowing county roadsides in the summer. The Town/Highway Department is reimbursed by Ontario County for both plowing and mowing.
