Town Supervisor & Town Board

Town Board meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Canadice Town Hall, 5949 County Road 37.  Town Board meetings start at 7:00 pm as of August 2024.

The Town Board is the governing body of the Town of Canadice.  It consists of an elected Supervisor and four elected Councilmember’s.  The Town Board is the legislative authority of the Town. They fill vacancies in town offices, may select a town attorney, and provide for hiring of such other employees as necessary to conduct the town's business.

The Town Supervisor is the Chief Financial Officer of the Town.  Assisted by the bookkeeper, the Supervisor is responsible for budgeting and overseeing all financial decisions.  The Supervisor is also responsible for the Town staff of Building/Planning/Zoning Department, and Assessing Department.  A Town Supervisor is a member of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors.
